How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Boss App account, email support@bossapp.co.tz from the email address connected to your account. Use the subject line "Delete Boss App Account".
Information to Include
- Business name registered in Boss App
- Business ID, if available
- Owner name
- Registered phone number or WhatsApp number
- Registered email address
- A short confirmation that you want the account deleted
Verification
For your protection, we may ask for extra information to confirm that the requester is the account owner or an authorized business representative. We cannot delete an account until ownership is reasonably verified.
What Will Be Deleted
After verification, we will delete or disable the merchant account and remove personal information that is no longer needed to provide the service. This may include profile details, staff access records, support details, and business data connected to the account.
What May Be Retained
Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or backup purposes. Retained records are kept only for as long as necessary.
Processing Time
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. If more time is required, we will contact you using the account email or phone number provided.
Alternative Support
If you cannot access your registered email, contact support and provide enough information to verify business ownership.
