Information We Collect
Boss App collects information needed to create and operate merchant accounts, including business name, owner or staff names, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, business location, package selection, products, stock records, sales, expenses, customer orders, payment records, support messages, and device or usage information needed to keep the service reliable.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to provide the BOSS service, create merchant and staff accounts, sync business records, send service notifications, support account recovery, issue receipts or reminders when requested, improve app performance, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Data Sharing
Boss App does not sell merchant or customer data. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host, secure, communicate, and operate the app. We may also disclose information when required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Boss App, merchants, customers, or the public.
Privacy Protection Statement
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including access controls, secure backend services, and restricted handling of sensitive account credentials. Merchants remain responsible for protecting their own devices, staff access, passwords, and exported reports.
WhatsApp and Communication Data
If Boss App features are used to send messages, reminders, receipts, or support communications, we process the contact details and message content needed to deliver that communication. Merchants are responsible for ensuring they have permission to contact their customers and for following WhatsApp, Meta, and local communication rules.
Data Retention
We keep account and business information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and support merchant operations. If an account is deleted, some limited records may be retained where required by law or legitimate business needs.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting Boss App support. We may need to verify your identity and account ownership before acting on a request.
